It’s amazing to see how quickly everything has changed all over the world. Who would have ever guessed that it would have went from having all types of sports within daily lives, to not having sports at all.

Monday March 16, the Mexico Football Federation has officially postponed all games. However, they have been playing all of their games behind doors. With most leagues forcing teams to play in empty stadiums and now postposing all of their games until further notice. Turkey has seemed to continue playing their games. For how long, we do not know. It’s been a recurring event for teams to play without spectators to postposing their games.

As of March 17th, the Turkish Super Liga continues to play their games without spectators. Goztepe currently in 8th place of the league table is currently winning to 2-0 against 16th place Rizespor. While all of their league games continue to play throughout the weekend. It’s interesting to see that the league is still underway while all other leagues are currently inactive. What are your thoughts on why they are still playing? Is this a good move or bad move?

On a side note, Brazil is still going hot with their annual Beach Soccer competitions. With 8 men’s teams and a women’s division, it’s amazing to see the turnout for this competition. As much as we hope to continue to seeing this type of dedication, we think it will be only a matter of time before they have to postpone the remaining competitions.
